Harry Stantsos Head Coach

Sprints / Hurdles Coach

Harry has over 25 years of coaching experience and he has been with us for the past years. He is a level 3 NCCP certified coach and is currently working towards his Advanced Coaching Diploma (level 4 & 5).

In addition to his STL commitments, Harry is a Provincial & National coach, having represented Ontario at the Canada Summer Games, and Canada as a sprint/hurdle/relay team coach.

Harry also serves as the hurdles coach for Western University where his hurdlers have proven to be a force at the University National level.

Many of Harry´s athletes have won numerous titles over the years at OFSAA, Provincial, and National competitions and have held records at these levels.

Geoff Robbins

Assistant Middle / Long Distance Coach

Geoff has been a coach for STL for the past years. He began as one of Harry´s athletes during his high school days before heading to Western University. There he trained and competed in middle distance events on Western´s varsity team.

Once graduated and working as a professional photo journalist, Geoff´s love for track &: field brought him back to our club as a coach. He is able to combine both his passion for athletics and photography while volunteering is time to our athletes.

Katerina Karidas

Junior Development Intermediate/Youth Coach

Kat is a recent graduate of Western University and is currently attending Althouse Teacher´s College. She trained with the varsity team in multi-events with her strengths in long jump, shot put. Kat works with our younger athletes, using her multi-disciplinary experience to coach the introductory level of all the running, jumping, and throwing events involved in track &and field. Kat has extensive experience working with youth through her teaching at the Greek community school and her volunteer coaching at the high school level.

Kelly Bedek

Junior Development Intermediate/Youth Coach

Kelly started with our club as a horizontal jumps athlete during her high school years and is still actively competing with STL. She is currently attending Western University where she is a member of the varsity track & field team during the school season. Kelly has been a part of our Junior Development program for over 5 years, working both as a summer camp instructor and coaching our indoor winter JD program. Kelly´s commitment to our sport and caring for our young athletes has contributed to the quality and strength of our JD programs.
