Mike Roth, the 20-year old sophomore from the St. Thomas Legion Track & Field Club, and with the University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA) won the men's 400-meter dash in 46.80 seconds, today during the Conference USA outdoor track and field championships, at the University of North Texas. Roth was over two seconds faster than his qualifying time of 48.87 seconds in the heats Saturday and was the only finalist to finish under 47 seconds.
